Events Saturday, November 2 Inaugural Louisiana Book Festival
This first-ever Louisiana Book Festival will showcase the rich diversity and publishing accomplishments of more than 70 distinguished writers and photographers. Authors will offer readings, slide presentations and panel discussions in the Louisiana State Capitol. I'll be leading one on Louisiana history and culture in fiction and participating in one titled, "This is Not Your Grandmother's Romance." Tents adjoining the Capitol and State Library of Louisiana will brim with book-related activities for both children and adults.
